Fix keyboard and mouse stuttering, delay and disconnection problems

keyboard and mouse delay

Although wireless keyboard mice are becoming more and more common and affordable, electronic products are ultimately worth every penny.

There is still a difference in durability, quality and experience between the entry-level and high-end models. Even now, wireless keyboard and mouse still have the technical bottleneck of being "easily interfered by other wireless signals" causing keyboard and mouse jams and disconnections.

For example, I have encountered Wifi disconnection due to Bluetooth file transfer on my laptop, and Logitech M590 mouse stalling during USB 3.0 file transfer.

If you have also encountered this situation, you can try to troubleshoot it in the following way.

Make sure battery is charged, switch computers to test, turn off power saving mode, exclude ambient wireless signals, switch to the USB port on the rear panel of the host, avoid using USB 3.0, and use the USB extension cable to keep the connector away from interference sources.

  1. Make sure the battery is charged: Don't laugh, there are really people who send their mouse in for repair repeatedly only to find out that their battery is dead.
  2. Test on a different computer.
  3. Go to Device Manager in Windows 10 and remove the USB power saving management option.xi virus
  4. Go to Windows Settings > System > Power and Sleep > Change Plan Settings > Change Advanced Power Settings > USB Settings > USB Selective Suspend Settings > Cancel USB device auto power off.
  5. Turn off Wifi and Bluetooth: Turn off your sharer, cell phone mobile network, laptop Wifi, kitchen microwave, and all possible 2.4GHz or 5.0GHz wireless sources.
  6. Plug the wireless connector into the front or rear panel USB hole to test.
  7. Plug in USB 2.0 instead of USB 3.0
  8. Use the USB extension cable to extend the wireless connector to the outside of the host, which is also known as the urine bag type hanging method.
